Welcoming a new baby is whirlwind in the very best way. Those early days and weeks go by in a flash, and your sweet baby will change every single day. These sessions are designed to freeze a little piece of that time so you can revisit it long after the haze clears.

Whether you want the full experience with family photos and lots of variety or something short and simple to capture just baby, there’s an option here for you.

When Should I Book?

Book before baby arrives if you can! Choose a date about a week after your due date when booking online. We’ll shift if needed once baby makes their debut.

What’s the Best Age for Photos?

Sessions are best when baby is 7–20 days old. Still sleepy, still curly, and usually settled into feeding. That said...NICU stays or early arrivals are totally workable. No stress.

What Do I Bring?

Not much. I’ve got all the wraps, outfits for baby, props. Bring diaper bag basics and a pacifier if you use one. Want to include something sentimental? Bring it along!

Should I Feed Baby Before?

If you can, feed 2–3 hours beforehand and again right before leaving for the studio. If that doesn't happen, no biggie. We will roll with it!

How Do I Prepare?

For Baby

Babies sleep when they want to sleep, so I’m not here to tell you what you have to do. But if you can keep them up for a bit before the session, cool.

Dress them in a loose sleeper with no onesie underneath so I can change them easily without waking them. Then give them a good feed.

When you arrive, leave baby in the car seat and I’ll take it from there.

And if the plan goes completely sideways? No big deal. We’ll roll with whatever your baby needs that day.

For Family (Full Sessions Only)

Family and sibling photos are always welcome with full sessions.

Stick to light, neutral outfits for a clean, timeless look.

Siblings can hop in at the beginning or end or even in the middle if they need time to warm up to the idea.

My studio has toys, water, TV, Wi-Fi… basically everything a sibling could need to stay entertained (or distracted).

Safety First, Always

You just had a baby. You shouldn’t be helping, you should be relaxing. I’ll take it from here.

I’ve photographed newborns for over 15 years and trained photographers across the tristate on how to do it safely. From posing to products, your baby’s comfort and well-being always come first.
