NEWBORN, CHILD AND FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHERI’m a Fargo-based photographer and baby enthusiast who’s been doing this for nearly 15 years. That either makes me highly experienced or just old enough to start saying “back in my day” unironically.
I’ve worked with every kind of kid—high-energy, camera-shy, sensory-sensitive, and everything in between. You might be thinking, “They’re not cooperating.” I’m thinking, “Perfect. That’s where the magic is.” I’ve seen it all, and I’ll still get the shot. Frame-worthy, promise.
My Approach
Think: effortless, natural, and just structured enough that even the dads make it through smiling. I craft every session to be laid-back and fun, while still nailing the kind of photos you’ll actually want to print.
From start to finish, I’ll guide you every step of the way—no stiff poses, no forced smiles, and definitely no “what do I do with my hands?” panic. I know being in front of the camera can feel awkward (believe me, I get it), but trust me—it’s easier than you think.
Whether it’s a sleepy newborn session or a full-blown family adventure, you just show up as you are. I’ll handle the rest. It’ll be relaxed, light-hearted, and leave you with beautiful photos that feel like you—just with a little extra shine.
Random Facts & Fun Stuff
Wife, mom to three kids, and Waffles’ mom—our sock-hoarding Goldendoodle who keeps us on our toes… literally. He bolts out the door any chance he gets. Super annoying.
I’m a minimalist at heart… with a slight shopping habit. A die-hard listener of organizing and decluttering podcasts (with a dash of true crime). My favorite hobby? Hyper-fixating on new hobbies and buying all the supplies I’ll never use—until they sit around long enough for me to finally declutter them... and the cycle continues.
I’ve been skydiving, scuba diving, and somehow ended up as PTA president—which is pretty ironic for a self-proclaimed introvert. But let me tell you, I can throw a school carnival at the drop of a hat, and my school dance playlists are fire… or at least that’s what the 5th graders tell me.
